Panasonic 65 inch VT50 release date and price? - Page 11

It looks like Futureshop now has stock and that Sears Canada has stock on the 65VT50 but anyone who bought through Visions or other Canadian stores hear anything or find out anything about in stock dates? I called one Visions in town and they said they had a floor model of the VT50 but I am not sure if he knew which model really was on the sales floor. The salesman I was dealing/bought my VT50 from, said for me to call back the first week of July. This is dragging on now even with a loaner 65GT50. Anyone with updates? Thanks

I want to buy this tv in a few days but i can't decide between this and sony hx850.
Image quality,clarity and crispness are lot important for me than the other features.
According to this which would you suggest?

I played around with the 65VT50 a week ago and the South Edmonton Visions.......the guy said they only got in one and I think he said there would not be any more comiing in until late July!!!

Lots of noise in the background of the picture (on Gladiator and Star Wars Blu that I tested).......nice blacks even in the bright floor area. I need to check one out better vs the ST and GT in a dark room to determine what I want to get.

I have been told my 65VT50 will be in store next week for me. The manager emailed Panasonic and they are sending only one to the store, with more to follow only in August some time. There must be a real shortage of these units or something.

Pulled the trigger and ordered my 65VT50 today at lunch, should be here in a couple weeks if not sooner. Not a huge rush though as I need to sell my 58V10 to make room. Either way, can't wait...

Same here. Visions said it would be in this week which was directly from Panasonic in an email and nothing has arrived as of mid afternoon Friday. I have been getting the runaround from Panasonic too but at least I have a 65GT50 loaner in the meantime thanks to the great staff at Visions.

Doesn't appear to be a lack of stock in the US and Panasonic Canada don't appear to care if Canadians wait???

The manager called me yesterday and said my tv is in and will be delivered early next week. Finally.
