Help Repairing KDL-52XBR4

Thread Starter
I have a Sony Bravia KDL-52XBR4 TV. (Mfg. Jan2008) It took a fall and landed on it's bottom edge. It works but now the right side of the screen seems to have a delayed action causing a "trails" effect not unlike the Windows mouse effect on PCs.
I am thinking that the two right side inverter board could be damaged? I checked all connections that are accessible with the rear cover removed and reseated the two left inverter boards.
Any advice if the two inverter boars I ordered on e-by do not fix the problem?
Thank you,
Joe

Inverters are the components that drive the backlights. Also, the boards you are describing (long boards on the extreme left and right), are actually called balancer boards. They do not invert anything. They simply divide, equalize, and monitor the current to each backlight or CCFL. Backlight failures on a Sony generally result in a shutdown. The video problem you are describing is a fault with the T-CON or in the panel itself (Tab bond most likely).
