I have some home video footage that I am dumping from digital8 tape to mpeg format. Am then looking for some way to add a slate to the beginning of it. Is there some sort of free/simple software that can either make a mpeg based slate or something that will convert a jpeg to mpeg.
Was then gonna use free video joiner software (www.freevideojoiner.com/) to join it all together. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?
