Cartridge help

Hello All,
So I recently took a jump into vinyl and I am extremely impressed. I bought a Stanton T-52B and I really like it. It came with a stanton 500.V3 Cartridge which from what I read is really more of a DJing cartridge. I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for another cartridge in the 100 dollar range, or if I should just stick with the 500.V3 for now.

My research has lead me to believe that the Shure M97xE would be a good upgrade but I am not sure.

Thanks for your help.

I own a Shure M97xE and feel it is a great cartridge for the price. I can't say how it will compare to your current cartridge, but the Shure cartridge does a good job.

I would reccomend that give grado cartilages a shot. I have their green line and it is very nice sounding...

Thank you, ill take a look at the pricing and reviews of the grado compared to the reviews of the shure, and how the match up in the price. If anyone has more suggestions I would still love to here them. Also just a stupid question, I will be able to mount any standard cartridge on the arm of the player right?

Shure 97 and AT 440 are two good entry level cartridges. They sound different though. I recommend to find a place to listen each of them before you buy, unless you can buy both.
