Where in the bay area can I see a Mico 50 /150?

I am in town for work and would like to see a MICO, as there are no dealers near home. I tried one SIM2 dealer in San Jose but they dont have one. Anyone know where one is being shown?

Not from that area so I cannot comment specifically, but the 150 would likely be hard to find since it just started shipping not all that long ago.

Sim2 has a "fly and buy" program where you can go to their location, test/play with them and if you purchase they will reimburse your flight... Might be an option, though from CA to FL it would take a bit.

Actually it doesnt have to be the 150 .. the 50, or even a Vango or Runco would be fine. I was hoping that with the high number of A/V showrooms here I could see a good single chip LED DLP.

You might check with Audio High in Mountain View. They usually have something from Sim2.

Well I was able to check out a Runco 750 LED dlp, and am happy to report that I did not see rainbows, which is really all I wanted to check. It was poorly calibrated so I threw out most other observations. But since I am so susceptable to rainbows I was fearful that even LED based single chip DLP would not work for me. That makes me even more excited about the future of LED projection as I can hopefully assume that 3-5 years from now there might be an LED 4k single chip DLP in the 2k lumen range. I can just enjoy my vw1000 until then .

Though it is possible to see rainbows on LED's, the percentage of people is VERY tiny that do. Glad that was the case with you!
