First off, I'm not asking about how to run downloadable/pirated games, I'd just like some creative ideas about how to build a workable arcade out of recycled or everyday wasted electronics.
Right now I have an old laptop which quit working about a year and a half ago, tonight I googled it and found a fix, so the brain of the project is fixable for about five bucks. Second I think the controls I'd like to use is the x arcade tankstick for 100 to 200 bucks, lastly is the monitor. Here I have a problem, the arcade games I run on my lcd monitor look like crap, is this because it's an lcd and not a crt?
what should I be looking for (cheaply) as an arcade monitor?
