This is to cool. In Germany in May on Blu-Ray some of the following titles are being released, with the rest soon thereafter-

ENTER THE NINJA - May
REVENGE OF THE NINJA - May
NINJA III: THE DOMINATION
BRADDOCK: MISSING IN ACTION III
PHANTOM OF THE OPERA (w/ Robert Englund)
BREAKIN'
BREAKIN' 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO
SALSA - April 24th
LAMBADA- April 24th

Ahhh. Where's my American Ninja Series

Damn. I would actually buy Missing in Action III, goofy cheese that it was, assuming the disc isn't or won't be region locked.

That said, there are sooooooooooo many films I'd rather see on BD ahead of Breakin'...

I re-watched Revenge of the Ninja recently on Netflix. It was one of my favorite movies from my high school days, one of the few movies I've actually seen in a theater.

It is quite corny, of course, but that scene where Sho Kosugi is fighting the guys in the speeding van and kicks through the windshield still kicks ass!

Hopefully not adding to the league of German upscales

Different label and different studios, so hopefully not. Are there more upscales beyond those Universal-licensed upconverts like Nighthawks, Tank, etc. of late?

Not that I have seen, but there was a rash of those horror and cult ones like Dawn of the dead and the ones you mentioned

And Delta Force 1 & 2. Would like those as well.

A lot of those Chuck Norris movies are 4x3 pan & scan only on their existing DVD incarnations. Blu-ray releases are long overdue if for no other reason than to finally see them in widescreen.

Has anyone picked up Enter the Ninja? Very curious if it will play in a Region A blu-ray player...

If you have an interest in film, it's not really a choice. If you only watch US blockbusters, ok, but other than that, some movie you love is only available or only available in its best version, in another region. If you're on a forum that's about collecting shiny discs, I can't see any reason why you wouldn't be region free.

Quite obviously at this point, if you like catalog titles -- or any movie made before 1995 or whatever -- it's essential to have a region free player.
