I generally dont trust ANY online retailer to absolutely have something delivered into my hands, when I absolutely want or need it. And thats why I still shop at B&M stores. In my opinion online retailers have spoiled us so much with great prices and added convenience in that we've been spoiled. We are used to getting it all and paying the least for it. When reality is, its not always the best overall way to buy. You are basically placing all your eggs in one basket, hoping everything goes right. And something so minute as a lazy UPS driver can ruin your entire "special" day. Trust, I've had it happen to me with the original Black Ops. I took half a day off work, and watched out my window.. as the UPS driver did not attempt to deliver my package.. SHE simply left a yellow sticker on the front door of my building. I was home the entire time.
I knew I wanted this game as soon as possible and I knew I wanted guaranteed delivery. Which mean I got my azz up at 11:45pm.. and drove to the local best buy. Line was long as hell, so I went to the local Gamestop.. who had no one in line. Took me 2 mins to purchase the game and walk out the store with a copy in my hand (half of the time in the store, was Gamestop sales pressure to buy shyt I didnt need). In addition to that.. I've also ordered a 2nd copy of the game from MSstore. I had a $25 GC to use, so the game was only $35 with free shipping. It also came with an additional $10 GC and 1600points. I'll probably use the $10 GC to buy more points.. which gives me about 2500 "bonus" perks to use on future BLOPS2 DLC. Even better I can sell the 2nd Nuketown code on Ebay for extra bucks later down the line.
Long story short.. when you absolutely have to have it. Take your azz to the store. When you want to save money or get the best deal.. turn on the computer.

The guy goes to ring me up and even after looking at my receipt hands me the regular version. Excuse me, but I will take the Hardened Edition like it says on receipt.
