So you've never had the enemy spawn behind you on either of those maps? I must just have rotten luck, it happens to me all the time. In fact, of any CoD game to date, I have been shot in the back more in this one. I don't mind losing face to face gunfights, I do take umbrage to people spawning behind me or spawning very close to me after I have killed them, and popping back up 15 seconds later to shoot me.
The only time I ever have that happen naturally is on hijacked, and its those two zones at the very ends where it really happens, especially in FFA.
I do that all the damn time to people with my tac insert though. I don't play much TDM though, so I'm rarely playing so conservatively than anyone can sneak up on me.
One of my favorite parts of it is the way they set up the scorestreaks....I'm actually getting pretty high level stuff very frequently from being super aggressive about PTFO. If you charge a B flag, you get +200 for every kill while capping, +200 for the cap, and +125 for every defend. . You could score a UAV with just one kill and a cap, get some turrets going. The guy hanging back gets diddly.
It's why each game isn't dominated by high killstreaks, a huge change for the better. In the 50ish hours I've played, I've seen one VTOL, one swarm, one lodestar, and one K9.
