You should get a lot more points for a shared package in my opinion.

The figures I'm interested in seeing is percentage of matches quit per player vs MW3 and Blops. I betchya it's the most since MW2.

Good for them, but it's still not as good a game as MW3.

No doubt about it. MW3 never, EVER, made me pissed off so much that I just left and shut the 360 off. Already, with BLOPS II, I have rage quit probably a dozen matches and quite a few times just said, "**** IT!" and turned the 360 off and gone and played Civ V or F1 2012 on the PC. The lag and ******** in this game is piled as high as Everest...it makes the rampant camping in the early days of MW3 pale in comparison.

Every COD game had lag issues after release.
MW2 didn't get fixed for almost 3 months.
Black Ops took at least a month.
MW3 took at least a month until they made the first adjustment to the netcode.
How long has it been since BLOPS2 has been released?
Not even a month?

BTW - why don't you play BF3? Sounds like more your style.
It doesn't have the lag issues because it uses dedicated servers. In that regard it is a much more satisfying game than any of the COD titles.
My guess is that you'd be very happy with it if you can manage to get over the initial shock that comes when having to adjust your play style to a new game,

tried to make a vid for you guys of my work with the tac 45 its in my saved files in the theater but it would not let me load it to edit it. anyone having problems with that?

Yeah. I had a care package drop, hit the ground, bounce, and go flying over the rooftops out of the map on Slums. I could access the video in my theater but unable to do anything else.

Everyone needs to read back and re-read their rants and gripes about MW3 before they praise it.

I've had that happen several times too. Hopefully they'll fix that eventually.

The hatred for mw3 on AVS was so strong that I didn't think even the shortest memories would forget it. It had gotten so bad at points that there were occasional "stop bitching" movements, a few lurkers would pop out in agreement, and then within a day or two, it was beaten out of existence. Now granted, some of the most vocal haters left and never came back, but even still, I don't remember much praise from the regulars that are still around. The issues were pretty much the same then as now, lag and game balance.

A year from now, everyone will look fondly back on blops 2, after declaring MW4 the worst ****ing game ever made.

MW3 was a travesty and I still hate it. So, don't worry, some of us still remember.

From the second I put in MW3, it felt better to me than BO. I can honestly say I never said anything bad about it. But then again, I understand these things happen and just try to deal with them.

My friend, I didn't say MW3 was perfect, nor did I say it was the greatest game of all time. I said for me, personally, it's a better game, that doesn't and hasn't, made me rage nearly as much as BLOPS II has. That's all I said, that, and the amount of BS in BLOPS II is worse than my biggest gripe in MW3, which was camping. How can you, out of that comment, mean that I want to play BF3 as my "shooter" over the CoD series? I have said a million times probably that I own BF3 on the PC, but feel it is needlessly complicated, too slow of pace, and the controls and feel of the game make your character feel "floaty". I don't hate it, I just don't prefer it. Also, I have been playing Call of Duty since the original on the PC and have played every one since and I feel it's a better series that offers better gameplay and "fun". Just yesterday we talked about how both series should take a bit of what the other does best and try to apply it to their game, because they both have strong points. Trust me, CoD is where I belong and where I will stay, but that doesn't mean I am not going to be critical of its faults and of the bullcrap that the people that play it, do in the game. I'm a good CoD player and when the game allows for it, I have a lot of fun. Don't let me rants make me seem like a perpetual malcontent, I am a really nice guy, but I do have a lot of emotion, opinion, and passion in me.

Oh trust me, I ranted some about MW3, particularly about the camping a lot of people did in it, which isn't really something you can blame on the game. NOBODY is saying it is the be all end all of games, I just think most people, one month in, were much happier with MW3 than they are with BLOPS II.

Oh trust me, I remember that vividly. I never remember having nearly the lag problems I have with BLOPS II and most of my whining was about the campers and cheesers/glitchers. I'll tell ya one thing, the maps in MW3, to me, are a million times better and I think that is one reason BLOPS pisses me off so much. MW3 didn't have ANYTHING as crappy as Hijack in it, nor did it have SO.....MUCH......CRAP for people to hide/head glitch behind.

Hmm, I agree, and hadn't really thought of that. Plus, each team has TWO YEARS, and tons of data from previous releases to fall back on. Honestly, at this point, there isn't much excuse for these to not come out being much better than they are.

I don't really see any bugs though. Lag comp isnt a bug, its a feature. A lot of people don't like it, but that isn't news to anyone.

From the looks of all the stuff they've been posting on twitter, it sounds like they're going to be pretty proactive about balance fixes. There's plenty of reasons for people not to like it based on personal taste, but nothing about it seems unfinished or unpolished.

Well, they certainly haven't been proactive in combating that silly notion.

I know, right? What the hell am I paying Cox all that $$$ for anyway? If someone's on a dial-up connection, let them feel free to play on the welfare servers lol...

Don't get me started with the damn handouts and entitlement generation... good grief. At least you know that when you rent something from Vudu you will have a nice clean 1080p feed with lossy audio Actually if you do that and then jump into a match you may be competitive!

I have no doubt, I just think complaining on a forum is like pissing in the wind. Better to use the energy to find a solution IMHO.
It's just a stupid game.
I've never had a 100% experience with any of the these games.
BLOPS was as close as it got for me.
BO2 is decent, far more interesting for me than MW3 which I found cynical and boring.
The truth is though that we'll never enjoy these games again like we did the first time,
The high we got will never be repeated.

People are just talking Jammy. If all anyone did was help praise on the game, this would be a boring place to visit. The exchange of differing viewpoints is part of what makes a forum, a "forum".

Not going to lie - I don't ever remember the previous versions having this many issues with people dropping, flying or skipping across the screen, host migrations, and 1 bar connections.

Last night was brutal. And for what it's worth, I've never made a post for any of these games complaining about the lag.

Maybe if Daekwan hadn't left the second I got online, things would've been different. What a dick.
