That interface looks nothing like the one from the official videos. Have to wonder how authentic that is...

I can easily believe the highest level is 55 though...that would basically confirm cod points are back.

Just read there will be no cod XP this year. Probably cost them a fortune to put that show on, so I'm not really surprised. I wonder how they're going to reveal the MP now. With blops they had a media focused event, and it was kinda hard to get solid info since most games journalists range from casual observer to jaded cod hater.

I hope they put something together for the fans. We got so much info out of cod XP even if we didn't attend. With blops there was still a lot of unknowns until release.

In a statement on the One of Swords community blog, Activision said "Last year's Call of Duty XP was a great way to celebrate our Call of Duty community and reveal Call of Duty Elite.

“Each year we try to surprise and delight our fans and this year we are planning to host some new experiences for our fans around the globe including at Gamescom later this summer in Cologne, Germany,” Acti continued.

Could be just two months away from their reveal then.

It'd be awesome if they put together some sort of road show where fans could just play the game. Cod XP was a cool idea...but man, it was such a circus. The focus was on everything but the actual game.

Comic Con starts July 12th.
Gamescon is August 15 to 19, 2012
The Tokyo Game Show starts Sept 20th.

Not sure what the other big ones are.

I could see them showing off zombies at comic con and then MP at gamescom.

Maybe there's some big MLG event between now and then? Seems to be a big focus of theirs, the treyarch guys talk a lot about pro gaming.

12:10 to 12:20. No hud, its third person, but you can tell its MP just by the way the players move.

Not really much to go on, but you get a little peek at three maps. You can see the quad rotor fly by for a bit, and there's some odd looking equipment planted. Also thought it was kind of odd that the players are carrying two assault rifles each in the first shot, dunno if it means anything.

Ah, ok. Can't say I have ever heard that expression. It certainly seemed odd that they would drop the number of players.

Yeah it's a radio thing. Coming in 5x5 means loud and clear....lower numbers mean less so. No idea what he was responding to.

Seems like they've basically gone dark again, but they're hinting really strongly at big things for gamescom in August.

I hate the idea of preorder bonuses in general, and I absolutely despise the idea of preorder bonus maps....but....

I love nuketown.

I'm guessing they will give you a code to download the map. I'm wondering how much that sucker is going to go for on Ebay. With all the Nuketown love, you could probably get $40 for that code alone. I am very tempted to try that since I could live without N-Town.

I got the BLOPS 2 Dog Tags from the Best Buy pre-order. I am going to throw those on Ebay. I am seeing $7-$10 as the going rate.

I just wish they would announce the hardened edition already.

After months of living with the denial of a failed prototype, I think I am happy with the design for unlocks & progression systems.

Hopefully that means they made some major changes. I'm not 100% happy with the way either blops or mw3 does it.

so how are they going to work this, if you don't preorder the game do you just kicked everytime nuketown comes up??

I'd be shocked if it wasn't for sale at some point.

I've enjoyed my time with Black Ops 1 but it's time to move on to a new Cod...

I was hoping to hear some news coming out of Comic-Con but it doesn't seem likely. I have heard the big MP reveal will be at the games conference in Germany in August.
