Anyone else think its time to revisit, or start a new AVS google doc spreadsheet? That was pretty hysterical what we had running in the MW3 thread.

The doc was a repository of gamertags, times people were on (i think) and KDR ratio's so that everyone knew some info about each other.

@Zombie - If we game on a Friday or Saturday night, a select few of us have been known to game till 3:30 PST

Lets plan for this to happen Saturday evening, lets say after 9pm est and game till you guys rage quit which might be after one game.

I am having a hard time forking over $80 for a controller and I know it's off topic but would it make a difference in timing if I use my wireless controller with the play and charge cable? Would that be the same as having a wired controller?

I'm pretty sure that the play and charge cable doesn't transmit the data through the cable it's still wireless. The cable is just supplying the charge to the battery.

I still wouldn't worry about buying a wired vs. wireless controller just get what you prefer.

Pretty sure I haven't laughed at anything that hard in any of these threads. It's going to be a slow day at work - let me dig it up. I used to have it bookmarked until this thread started picking up steam.

Regarding the Chalup vs. (insert losing team here) games, I'm up for it - probably later in the evening on a weekend would work best to guarantee time away from my better half and maximum participation. We can either do it via the lobby system by joining each other's sessions and taking over a lobby entirely, or do private matches - doesn't matter to me. Private is probably better to make sure everyone is on the same page. But I'm not going to do it if we end up sitting around for 2 hours trying to get everything coordinated like last time.

Finally got to party up with some of the avs crew last night and got to experience the lag people are raging about. I think it happens when partied up but don't know why it does it.

It is still live. My favorite of the K/D is sneakyshark's "High as a Halo jump". Perfect.

Anyway I would be interested in an AVS night as well, my BLOPS schedule is sporadic though but set a night and time and I will do my best to be there.

I remember a couple of nights playing mw3 where we a whole bunch of us jumped into a private match lobby and let it randomize the teams every match, and it was fun as hell. Everyone seemed to forget about lag and just had a good time shooting each other. If the teams ended up really stacked, whatever, they'll be random again next match. Even with blops 2 I played some chaos moshpit a few times with AVS guys and every now and then it'd throw us all into FFA....and those were way more fun than just stomping randoms.

As soon as people started organizing and breaking off into factions, picking teams etc...it was something other than fun, for me at least. I don't think anyone here has anything to prove, the good players know they're good....so why not just pick a time, people can come and go as they please, get as many people into a lobby at once, everyone stay in game chat instead of party, and just throw down?

We can do, and have done, exactly that. What was being discussed was just a straight up match between a couple of preformed teams for bragging rights. Both sides know what is going on, and it will still be fun and will aid in our future friendly sh!t talking. We're talking about two entirely different situations here.

Ya I know, just sayin while I'm not really down for any sort of organized competitive thing, we should totally try and get some sort of regular AVS night going where we all just indiscriminately kill each other. I would totally get down on that, I'm already kind of otherwise bored with the game.
