HW is just too situational to spend a point on. It's great if and when there's a CUAV in the air, but that's like 2-3% of the time spent played. Almost no one uses EMP nades in pubs, and I don't think anyone has ever run the EMP streak, ever. They should make it so that it also protects you from guardians, and they should take the delayed mine trigger away from engineer, which doesn't need that ability anyway, and give it to HW. Or make your equipment unhackable. It needs to be more broadly useful.
Blind eye should protect you from sentries and AGR, and it should also halve lock on time. Right now it basically protects you only against HKs and choppers...the rest of the air support is player controlled. Isn't worth a point as it is.
Sensor grenades are ****, they don't work through walls. They should be able to. They should also last 2-3x as long. And they should transmit the radar info to your whole team.
And of course, if they ever make footsteps audible to anyone who isn't using a headset at full volume in a soundproof room, ninja and awareness suddenly become useful as they are.
