The 360 can't do discrete 7.1 even if they wanted to. PS3 can no prob. Haven't heard anything about it though.

If you have a proper 7.1 set up at home, DPL IIx should matrix it into your rear surrounds almost perfectly anyway.

I forgot about that, i have the ps3. id rather have matrix than not, but 7.1 is better than matrix. i found a 7.1 game list that says original Black Ops is 7.1. not sure if MP is though. If blops 1 did 7.1, I'm sure blops 2 will. Their sound engine is way ahead of IW.

popped it in last night and was really surprised there was not an update to download after all this time smile.gif it ran 7.1 and sounded good cool.gif

Yeah, true. A motion sensor that isn't for campers just seems...odd.

Hopefully we'll see something in two weeks....I bet the rumors about the create a class being totally freeform are true.

@BlackOpsIINews: #BlackOps2 multiplayer will be playable August 29 at the GameStop Expo in San Antonio, Texas. We'll keep you posted on info from the event.

Well, at least we know the latest we'll see it.

Here's a guess...instead of a planted radar, it's a tactical grenade/throwable. Something akin to the recon perk from mw3. Toss it into a room before you go in. Even better if it's like sitrep and you can straight up see them through walls not just the map.

They have already shown the X-Ray scope on the Sniper Rifle in single player. Maybe that will be in MP as well.

Purely depends on what they take from the two games and what they get rid of. As long as BO 2 is more like black ops and less like Modern Warfare I'm sure I'll end up happy.

I see. I was thinking it was to soon for them to release another game. But I also felt as if they have been trying to copy the CODs way of success. I fell as if they are trying to get closer and closer to COD every day.

Consider yourself lucky. I for one had no choice. It then became my preference. I realized I was paying more attention to what I actually see vs hear. For some reason no sound would make me aim a little better to. Only thing I can think of is it was because of no sound. I wouldn't hear the timing of the shots. Making it feel as if guns shot smoother. Or just a placebo effect idk.
