Dogs are hit and miss. Mighty usually kills all the enemies before the dogs get to them. Sometimes you will get a lot. Swarm always gets a ton of kills though unless it's just nota good map for them.

I switch it up a lot but VSAT and Swarm are always in my rotation normally. emp is fun to call in because it sounds awesome.

Thats because I killled everyone before your dogs got to them.

The vsat is seriously underrated. Every time one pops up, even when I play with randoms the care packages and streaks are rolling in shortly after for our team.

I set up a class for that last night but replaced the shotgun with the Kap, didn't camp with it though I did take it to a few people on carrier
That would be funny, have your entire team below deck all with TI's, trophy's, shield, etc. I think the enemy team would quit faster than they normally do.

If I happen to be playing with Pillpusher and by some miracle he isn't yelling or bitching, I'll run EMP because then he bitches about how crazy it makes his subs go. I'm going to try to bring down his garage one of these days.

Seriously, that EMP is no joke, it makes my whole room shake. Nothing else in the game even comes close.

You really need to use the 5.7 on hardcore its incredible at long range compared to the kap's its much more accurate.

Anyway on to my BLOPS2 comment - Kenobi nice job on the gold shield, its actually pretty friggin' cool looking. I have to admit I do like using the shield I just suck at it. I particularly have a tendency to forget to pop up and end up shooting my shield more than the enemy, LOL. Also I swear for some reason my shield takes 1 maybe 2 hits and its gone. Where as with everyone else it seems to take several hits before it goes, makes me wonder if I am doing it wrong. Who knows.

Ok understood and I do realize your comments are somewhat in jest and somewhat on point as to the rules. I get that.

My only concern is that if we can't laugh, joke, kid around etc in a forum chat then that sort of takes the fun out of things and defeats the purpose of a chat about a fictional supposed to be fun video game. I hear ya about the bad day thing too but bear in mind as a mod you should be fair in all areas regardless of the kind of day you are having. Same should be said about the rest of us to be honest but oh well.

You guys have been chatting it up about league play a little bit lately and to quit Starship Troopers ... "Would you like to know more" ... yes.

Can you take teams into league play (i.e. a party) for some reason I thought it was just singled up and you were randomly put on a team

You can take teams in. You're "graded" separately on your single play vs your play as a team.

And this grade is designed to place you against other people of your skill? How is that fair from a team perspective if go in with a team of buc, conman, etc? I mean they would be a much higher level than I.

On an individual level, yeah. I don't know how it works in the background but it's supposed to put your team as a whole against other teams of like skill. It's supposed to be completely based on if you win or not too.

So, if I play with a good team I might get put into a gold tier eventually, but then when I play by myself I might be lucky to make silver.

As for dogs suck. Alone. Indeed they do. Very easy to counter. Guardian will destroy them. Hiding on water and they won't touch you. Dogs are only good when combing it with air support. Swarm or Any Chopper. Works awesome with the VTOL. I tend to use dogs more as a defense. Keeps you in the air for much longer and takes out those hiding inside. Obviously dogs plus swarm just equals game over. Nothing you can really do to counter the two together. Even if you emp. Sure it will kill the swarms but you still have dogs to deal with.

Hey guys, forgive my noobness, but how do you equip two pistols at the same time? I got killed by a guy last night with two of them, and I have no idea how to do that.

I'm pretty sure your specific team has to go through the placement matches. Change any one player and its considered a new team, needs a new placement etc. So you're graded as a whole, I don't think your solo rank counts for anything in a team.

For those audio nerds, I kind of want to spec lab that or just run rew real time.....it has to be <10 hz.

Just need to shoot down a Dragonfire with the SMAW and I will have Gold with that one. Hopefully I can move on to the RPG soon. I had 1 game last night when someone launched a DF. I got two chances at it and it killed me right as I launched the rocket both times. Of course the kill cam didn't show me do anything. It's the only one I have seen in the last 2 days of play.

I need 8 more long shots with the Type 25 to get Gold. That will be 4 Golds in the Assault category.

"Guys, don't shoot down that Dragonfire! I need it for my camo!"

2 minutes later, Dragonfire still raining death down on us...
