Just got Diamond camo on my AR's. smile.gif I have never boosted and I am at level 7 of Prestige 10. Anyone who puts in the time will get there at some point!

I ran into boosters a few times this weekend as well. Every time it was in HC KC. The bummer with that is when you go to break up their little D-Bag party, you can end up killing your teammate so you can get kicked from the match pretty easily. I never just shoot the boosters with a gun. It has to be with C4 or RPG's, etc. biggrin.gif


I played the new maps this AM. I liked them all. Lots of action and good design. Funny part was I rarely, if ever, ran into anyone fully camped in corners. That always seems to happen when the new maps come out until people learn the maps. Not sure why it was different this time. Map design? Or maybe just the particular rooms I was in?

they are the usual Treyarch maps.

Agreed. Somewhat blah but nothing too bad either. They are all already mixed into HC as well for anyone that doesn't want to place core stuff.

So far I'd say I like the snow one the best, seems to have a good flow but I've only played each one once. I'll be on in a couple hours of anyone is playing hooky from work today.

Wait, these maps are already integrated into the normal playlists? I was told that for the time being, to play the new maps you have to go to the Revolution playlist......is that not the case at all?

Do people have some kind of trick for getting headshots? Like Myrtle dog getting gold camo takes me quite a while but I read about people on here like Jitu who get gun to gold in about 4 hours of playing one night. I can play all day long and still only have maybe half the headshots done, let alone the other challenges that come after that.

Hard Core. TDM or KC would be my suggestion.

F1st is PISSED OFF!!!!!!!!!



Got a lot of great points in his extremely harsh way of describing them, but he touches on a lot of things in this video, not all I agree with, but he does mention sniping being op'ed, something I definitely agree with, as well as the size of the maps contributing to many of the problems people have with the "balance" in the game. Just posting this for information and you guys might wanna watch it.

It's easier with some gun than others. The AN-94 by far the easiest to get headshots with and I would highly recommend using the red dot sight. Also, take opportunity to take down enemies in prone and facing you because all you see is the head. So, red dot sight + aim for head + close to medium range.

Once you get the head shot challenge, unequip attachments and perks and play HC mode for best result.

That's the way I did it. HC makes the Long Shots so much easier. Turbine is a great map to get a bunch of those. Raid is also very good. I think I got 3 or 4 in one game shooting enemies on the other side of the circular driveway.

I got home and looked at my BO2 game case and it did come with Nuketown 2025! I am so stupid! MIssing out on all the chaos this whole time. I guess now I can work on getting gold camo for SMG and other gun with this map biggrin.gif

Agreed 100% that's the way i did it too. I looked forward to getting Raid, Turbine, Meltdown, and Express. Express is really good too because you always have someone sniping from the overpass and if you are on the 2nd overpass you can get enough distance to get the longshot challenge

Not sure if this is the right forum, but I'm going to ask it here. I have a Family Gold pass for my Son and I to play. My account is the main one where I do all the buying of of the games (not wanting the kids to have access to the Credit Card to buy MS points), DLC , etc.. My son and I each put it MS points for the Season pass for this Black Ops 2 and I bought it. So far everything looks good and he can access the map packs, but the Peacemaker does not show and says he needs a season pass. I'm assuming it is tied to my account and is not available to his account as well? I did get a chance to check out the Die Rise map and holy cow it is huge. That was is going to be fun to figure out how to play correctly.

I got a few on Express as well. If you stand at the bottom of the stairs of one of the overpasses, you get a clear view across to the middle of the other overpass. It would probably be next to impossible to take them out from that far in core games.

I'll give that a try. Part of my problem I think is that I don't stick to the same gun all the time. I change it up a lot depending on the map and the game mode so I don't focus exclusively on the same gun. I should probably try that method, have multiple classes with the same gun and different load outs for different maps.

I ran in to same situ as you with the peacekeeper. It only allows the "main" account access to the peacekeeper, all other pieces of DLC are fine. Disappointing, but jump in any revo lobby and the peacekeepers are littered everywhere. No help if you're going for gold camo on the non-main acct but not end of world.

Thanks for the confirmation of my suspicion. I guess I get why it is setup that way, but really wish if you buy a season pass all items should be unlocked for all accounts. I'm not totally big on MP of the game since I'm a zombies fan. I should just let me Son play as me since he is now better at this game then I am online. I'm afraid my age (not that old at 38) is catching up to me, but I just don't play as well as I used to. I do take great pleasure on how my son plays since I like to think he got some of my Gaming genes wink.gif

According to my non-scientific experiment, I now conclude that partying up will have you experience lag. So, we either play solo if we don't want to deal with lag OR if we want to play as a group then get into a private match.

Now, here comes my rant about the 1st DLC.

- The Peacekeeper is average although it looks cool compared to the other SMGs in the class. I can't say just yet how much better or worse it is as I have not used SMGs that much in the game, so, the verdict is still out
- Maps, however, are terribly designed and Grind was probably created to cater to all the hipster skater kids playing this game. All the maps seem very small and Hydro has to be the worst of them all when it comes to sound fx. I can't hear a god damn thing over the water rushing flowing throughout the map. I have had couple of hours to play in the new maps and none of them made me feel like I got my monies worth.
- I love all the maps that were released with the game and I expected same level of map designs from the DLC. Right now the only thing that would make me feel better about the Season Pass purchase is if they gave me Terminal from MW2. I know it wont happen but that's how I feel about the new maps.

True. Or they have been forced to sit in a corner because their connection cannot compete with other player's connections. mad.gif

*rant on* Yes we've talked about it before and as always it's coming up again. Why is it that I can put my Xbox in DMZ (yes I know there are better ways) and get a moderate NAT? Then I put it back behind my wall, forward all the "required" ports and get strict NAT?!! Seriously? Why do I have to become a network engineer to even get a chance at having a good connection? Total Bolshevik!!

When BLOPS 2 first started I was having decent games, I could get straight up games and go head-to-head in matches and win my fair share. Of course this was the opposite of most people at that time. the longer the game has been out, the worse on average my matches have gotten. So whatever tweak they've done (if any) only confirms my experiences with MW3 and BLOPS. I am at a constant disadvantage due to something in my network/internet chain. It frustrates the heck out of me that my favorite Xbox title is so setup for failure. *rant off*

Can anyone confirm that the new maps are in the regular CORE game modes (Domination, TDM, HQ, etc) or do you have to play "Revolution" matches only, to get to play them? I've got conflicting information and would like to know for sure.
