i pretty much only play this game with friends, playing with randoms really lowers my level of enjoyment..

No one ever really talked strategy in cod even before XBL parties. The vast majority of people with mics were using them to talk sh*t (which was kind of fun under the right circumstances). You've still got the occasional whiny kid, the music players, the racists, the complainers (usually complaining that no one else has a mic), the people raging after every death. Any female is immediately subject to the worst sexual harassment possible.

If you're not in an XBL party there's no good reason to put on a mic. The only people left to listen to people who have no friends (and its usually obvious why).

Can't lie though, I do miss some of the between match sh*t talking in MW2 before XBL parties were a thing. It could be pretty funny sometimes.

Yeah, I play the occassional game but I'm not very good. The only map I'm any good on at the moment is the pleasure yacht one because it's so small that you are bound to get a kill just running around wildly guns blazing.

Naw, I finish games as a general rule partied up. Especially when Blowfish and Mysta were playing hardcore. I almost wanted to blame you cause when you joined, that match kept stuttering/freezing and then locked up!!

But since I am not a "Blame it on BB" kind of guy, I think it's just the revision of the game. Seems to just get worse the more they mess with it. At least on our end. Though the router has definitely helped.

And the 5g range hits every point in the house!!

Either way. It would be fun to play with people. Going solo can only entertain you for so long. At least I know if I play with AVS members I'll have a decent team.

I'm still amazed by the lack of EMP grenade usage. A well-placed sentry gun can make the difference from a win or loss.

I went ahead and ordered a new microphone online. For some reason I just can't get it to work.

The 56U is the "cheapest" around $100. Has 3rd party GUI support. Well received and "proven".

The 65U is a little more around $125, gives USB 3.0, dual CPU's and IPv6 support.

The 66U is the most around $160, only has 2.0 USB, but should have a little larger range due to it's external antennae.

Thanks for the reply, I've look into them and kind of had similar idea of them. I read alot of good stuff on the 56u, but I always think to just spend little more for the "upgraded" models because I usually stick with what I have unless its a big improvement. Reason now I'm looking to replace the NetGear model I have now. Long range is not a concern being my modem is in middle of single level house. I keep thinking 56u would do just fine but is it worth it to just get the 65u. If there wasn't so much praise on the 56u I would buy the 65u. Would think the dual CPU (65u) would make it better but have no idea. I guess I'm still leaning toward 56u.

as the other guy said its tough playing with random people me and my brother play zombies a lot, i have always played online more try adding me again later, i trouble getting on the servers yesterday, would be nice if could get on with a bunch of like minded people on this forum to play together and setup as a group clan lol

I'm having some trouble with my 360. It's hard to connect to the servers. I often have to trouble shoot the internet like 5/6x to play. I also can't seem to add anyone as a friend on the actual 360. I have to do it manually from the Xbox website. Anyone else ever have problems like this?

I am having good luck with turtle beach wireless x31 can find it pretty cheap like 40 dollars on amazon real easy to setup

Had tons of fun playing with you guys tonight. It's so much easier to maintain a High win loss ratio when you're with a party. Buc. You were killing it with those dogs and swarms. Made me really wish I was 55 already. I'll become a little more useful when I get a VSAT. Only have a few levels to go. Then I'll start running UAV, counter UAV, VSAT. That set up allows a VSAT to be up pretty much the entire match due to so many assit points. It's all about getting that 1st one.

Sorry about my mic. I know it's garbage. I'm getting a new one in the mail soon I ordered it on Thursday. Can't wait!
