Nope it isnt. I traded in my hard copy for $46 so paying $3 more not to get up is a win for me. I would buy most games this way if they were released on release day.

Well, last night was an awesome night of gaming with the avs crew. It was 6v6 of Domination and we totally dominated. We had played against clans that put up a good fight but they were no match for us. If we had kept going, we could have easily gone on 20+ win streak. Btw, I have been prestiging my weapons and I am not planning on going past 2 prestige for each since thats the max needed to get clan tag and emblem unlocked for it. So effin glad I am done the peacekeeper because that gun sucks for my gameplay style. Scorpion IS the king! I think I will change my gamertag to that...what do you all think? "TheScorpionKing" ???

Yes Jitu it was a good time last night. I haven't played much at all recently, and when I do it is usually during the day when others are at work. Shift work does that, lol. I need to hookup my headset again. It does help when you can hear everything going on.

Yeah, it was nice to have you back again. If we all run Dead Silence and Awareness, we will be able to tell where the enemies are at all time and we won't even need UAV or VSAT. That's why I try to go as far away from my team as possible so I can tell enemy footsteps from my own and my teammates. That helps me out a lot and I don't even camp. We should give that a try.

so much uploading my gameplays on youtube. I lost the PVR power adapter and I sold the component cable adapter with my previous Xbox 360. So, I am going to have to invest in the new PVR which has HDMI in/out. Or I can record what's on the screen with a DSLR...seems like the cheaper and quicker route at the moment.

Turns out you're right. Just got $40 from Gamestop. $10 bucks(or $1.25/mo) to not change a disc for the next 8 months-yep!

I actually found a lobby with sub 200 SPM folks and was able to get the crossbow bloodthirsty by camping my arse off with the shock charges in the campers room on aftermath.

Sounds like some tough challenges with the knife! I wonder if you would have better luck on groundwar for the bloodthirsty's with the knife? Either that or stay dead sober on a Sat night, brew a pot of coffee and logon around 10 or 11PST. Most of your enemies should be pretty faded by then and you'll have the upper hand.

I'll never complete the challenges for the axe, shield, ballistic knife, or crossbow but I have to admit I hell of a good time axing people Sat & Sun night. I am not very good with it but it is so satisfying when you get people with the axe and you know they have to be raging when you do.

Just started a rushing class w/ the MP7 for the 1st time. Damn, thing's a beast. Shoulda given it a whirl months ago. Anybody else have a comment on how it compares to the other subs?

Scorpion comes 1st and then PDW, MSMC, and then MP7. I find it easier to hip fire with the MP7 because the I don't have enough success with its iron sights to recommend it.

Out of my 17-18k kills, it has around 98% of those. IMO, it is the best gun in the game for rushing classes.

Interesting, I found the sights to be the least occlusive. I usually win w/ the Skorpion up close, but w/o extended barrel it seems anything outside of 6ft is a crapshoot. Granted, it's a short range weapon, but I was getting hit-markers in hardcore a little too often. The MP7 seemed to fix that while still keeping a high ROF.

The Peacemaker really is the perfect hybrid weapon for my play style. It allows me the majority of the speed I'd have with an MP7 class but with distance and damage that works like an AR class. It has been almost the only class I use and prior to my crossbow/knife challenge grind, it was the reason my K/D was on the rise. I run it with Ghost/Lightweight, Coldblood, Dexterity/Engineer, C4, Blackhat.

GK, give this class a shot in HC:

Use whatever is your weapon of choice (w/2 attachments) - I generally use laser sight and fast mag, or fast mag and quickdraw

Perk 1 Greed
Lightweight
Ghost

Perk 2
Cold Blooded

Perk 3 Greed
Extreme Conditioning
Dexterity

No Secondary, or Lethal/Tactical

This is now my go-to setup, as I've raised my SPM from the low 500's to 532 now. I'm off the map with Ghost - and I can no longer be killed with any AI controlled Air Support with Cold Blooded equipped (those hunter killers were the biggest pain in the ass). When you need to get to an area in a hurry just put up your knife (automatic secondary) and sprint with that.

That's actually not far off from what I use and it does rock. The hunter killers are programed to get me... I swear if there was a way to pull stats for every match I played to see how many enemy HK's were launched and how many hit me it would be well over 70%.

For now I can't tear myself away from Tomb Raider... it is way awesome and I can't put it down so Blops is on the bench for a bit.

I thought Blind Eye perk keeps you undetectable from Hunter Killer?

Yes he's mixing up cold blooded and blind eye. Cold blooded makes it so scopes don't work on you and your name does not come up when targeted.

Since I switched a few weeks ago I haven't been killed by one. The end of the summary states, "Enemy player-controlled air support Scorestreak rewards also can't target you normally." Blind eye's summary is pretty close to this I believe.

Edit - Blind Eye states...AI-controlled air support Scorestreaks can't detect you. Some air support Scorestreaks can be player-controlled at anytime, which means they are still able to attack you if the AI is overridden.

Weird, as I have not been killed by one since I switched over to Cold Blooded. Perhaps I've just been lucky, or maybe it's just that nobody can muster a score streak that high against us biggrin.gif

I also use this class, but I replace extreme conditioning w/ Engineer so I know where all the equipment is at.
