Nvidia 3D Question

Hi all! I just purchased an Optoma HD 3300. I have the emitter that came with it and some Optoma Technology BG-3DRFGLASSES 3D RF Rechargeable Glasses. I also have a GT555m graphics card. Do I need the Nvidia 3d glasses and emitter kit as well? How do I set this up?

Now you should only need a 3D capable video player such as Powerdvd 11 or stereoscopic player. Apparently you only need the NVidia 3D kit for playing games in 3D, not for watching videos or BluRays.

You run a HDMI cable from the computer to the projector, either as a second monitor or as the primary. Make the video player software play on the projector screen, maybe have to drag that window and then full screen it. It helps if you can work a mouse while watching the projector screen.

The video player software should recognize that you have a HDMI 1.4 capable 3D display. If it doesn't, you gotta make it recognize it. Sometimes reboot, or sometimes log on again (switch user).

I think all you need is Nvidia 3DTV Play. $40 or so for the download on their website.
