Is Hdmi suppose to be loud even at low volumes when playing games?

Some games get loud even at volume 13. I have a 42 inch panasonic 1080p 12ohz tv. It goes up to a 100. It isn't as loud when watching the t.v, but games get loud. I am playing left 4 dead 2 and it is really loud.

it seems so much louder compared to my older tube tv with the audio and video jacks.

Different games are mixed at different levels.

you have in-game volume level control. you have global dashboard volume control. and you have TV volume control. between those 3, you should be able to tailor each of your games.

Left 4 Dead was really loud. Especially that pistol... Gears of War is very meaty...

Man, don't make me think on a weekend.

yes sublime The voices in games aren't as loud so I turn it up. I hear pistols and it gets really loud. I never got the chance to play left 4 dead 1, but I hear that it is a lot of fun.
