I have definitely noticed some lag on ps3 gaming when playing 3d (gt5) , 2d seems just fine to me. I think if you just turn off all of the processing/picture enhancement settings the lag should be fine. Not really sure about the whole renaming of inputs to pc/game, can anyone offer an explanation of why that is supposed to help as I assume it just turns off all the processing (which I do anyway)

BGSaveinMay25 takes another $25 off at BuyDig. Amazon had me on hold and then offered to call me back and instead I just went through with the purchase at BuyDig. I still used Amazon Payments at checkout. Hopefully all goes well.

It's a standard remote with numbers and lots of more buttons then the Magic Remote (MR). The reason I like the standard remote is because with the magic remote, you have to drill down to do anything, except volume and channel up and down. With this, I can just hit buttons... It's like having shortcuts to the menu function you want. I can also just punch in the channel number. Yes you can do that with the MR, but you have to drill down into the on screen remote. Plus, I hated the pointer appearing every time I picked up the MR to do anything, like change the volume or channel.

Going to grab the 32LM6200 soon. Just want to know if it's glossy screen, semi gloss, or matte? I want glossy and I hope it is. Also are there any input lag tests?

anyone with directv know if they can get the dtv remote to work with the LM6200?

The samsung HLT5687s code works on the LM6200's. didnt even have to reprogram the remote

Thanks for posting the model/pict of the non-magic remote. sears parts direct seems to have the cheapest price $20ish w/ shipping.

I can now confirm that the update does enable trumotion. Guess there is a fix coming to everyone after all, I for one was not very hopefull but LG Australia came through with the goods! If you want this firmware just send an email to LG asking them for it. The email address I got it from was; online.team@lg.com.au. You will need to find out your own country speficic email though, not sure if they can help you.

Firmware version is now v03.10.06.
It must have changed a few other things as I had my pc on hdmi4 and before the update there was no lag, once I uploaded the firmware there was massive lag. All fixed by changing to the game setting. Not sure what else it does (game setting) because turning off trumotion on either of the isf settings does not remove the lag. Anywho good luck!

i'd like to know this as well, considering using it for pc monitor.

I went from a 32" Panasonic for my pc screen to a 42lm6200 and the screen is definitely more glossy/reflective. Not as bad as my glass screen plasma though, maybe somewhere in the middle.

My 55lm6200 was doing random reboots. LG's repair vendor replaced two boards, one being the power supply. All was well for about two weeks, and it has started doing it again. Also, the frequency of reboots seems to increase over time.

Ok so I've been looking around and haven't found anything about input lag. I'm going to be using this as a pc monitor as well like above poster mentioned.

Anyone use the android LG remote app? I believe there are two apps. Anyone know if one works? I'd be happy to use that rather then the wiimote.

I placed an order already and should arrive tuesday. I'll be the judge of this tv as I returned numberous tv's due to being a bad monitor for games or text reproduction. I'll let anyone know what I can test or know when I get it unlike everyone else in this thread.

Also interested in knowing more about lag with 3d gaming how bad is it? Is it better on the 7600 or 8600 series?

No evident lag at all during racing games using the Game setting on the 65.

Check these settings

Fry's in San Diego has the 47 and 55 inch models on sale right now, and VERY cheap. The two models on sale are LG 55LM6200 and the LG 47LM6200 - again VERY cheap.

I am NOT a fan of any motion-smoothing technology (like Trumotion, which provides the dreaded SOE.)

Is there a way, as of right now with firmware, to defeat/turn off Trumotion? (On the 47 and/or 55. NOT the 65.)

I pick up a 55LM6200 on June 1 2012 at HHGregg for $1499. I don't know if that was a good deal or not. They had it price at $1599 and the sales man took off $100. But so far I love the TV.

I used the CHAT function on the LG website and asked if you could disable the Trumotion.

The agent said you will be able to -- using an upcoming firmware update. I asked "Do you know when that is, will it be this month?" and he responded "Yes, this month."

I then told him i don't like the SOE, and he said he agreed and didn't like watching his "war films" with that on.

So I might just pull the trigger on the 55, which WITHOUT mentioning price, on sale for $400 less than the person who just posted their price. And the 47 is on sale for $500 less than the price of the 55.

I ended up calling LG about it. They sent someone out to repair it right away. He actually replaced the circuit board or the processor. Fixed the problem!

Now, I am having problems with the TV suddenly turning off when I am streaming media through Plex using the Media Link app. It's rare that I get through a movie with out it happening.

Anyone else having this problem?

Just picked up the 47" model, gonna be pull out my X-Rite i1Pro 2 and start to Calibrate it this weekend. I'm excited to see what I can get out of this set.
