Unless you set your Blu-Ray player to output at 24hz, the TV is always going to display 60hz. You can use the TV's ARC mode to pass the 5.1 surround to your receiver, if that's in fact what you are asking.

i use plex and have the same issue i think you can fix the issue by getting the "plex pass " release (not that i have tried it )

"Multi-user mode. All the users you share media with (inside and outside the house) get their own view of it (e.g. On Deck, view history) , and can select custom audio/subtitles. This feature is PlexPass only."

Quick question on my 65". The box says it's 120hz but when I click on my screen it says 60hz. Is there a setting I need to change?

The INFO screen merely gives you signal data for the input being displayed (for example, 1920x1080@60Hz). The specs on the box refer to the capability of the TVs video processor...specifically, that it uses advanced algorithms to display a 120Hz image onscreen.

Can someone please tell me what is the default value for the backlight in Standard mode? I think I may have change it on the service menu... is it 75?
Mine is actually at 100 and since I don't use "standard" for anything I don't think I've changed it. Not guaranteeing it, but I certainly don't remember ever using standard so would not have been a reason to change it?

Good luck . . .

Hi to all,

I have a question regarding, the HDMI 1 port marked as ARC.

I have a PS4 connected to the TV through the HDMI 4 port!
The Ps4 is compatible with the SimpLink of LG but, when I connect the PS4 to the HDMI 1 port, the TV doesn't detect any signal! But when using the other ports it works flawsly!

I also enable the SimpLink from the other port (4) and it works great with the PS4.

The question is, what does it takes to make the PS4 work with the first HDMI port?

Is it required a special audio only device?

Thanks!

ARC is intended to work with a ARC-capable AV receiver. The PS4 should also be connected to an AVR so it can decode DTS HD Master Audio, Dolby TrueHD, and Dolby Digital Plus audio tracks from Blu-Ray discs.

It is 75.

Quick question: Does selecting Expert 1 (or 2) from the Picture Mode setting get rid of the "Game" picture mode faster processing time? I remember when setting my TV up, unless I set it up as "Game" I'd get input lag.

I tried the settings in this thread but I found that intelligent sensor does a pretty good job to the colors when connected with my laptop.

I have my laptop connected to my LG via HDMI with the device name "Notebook". It makes the text much sharper. Otherwise my notebook's text look fuzzy and the picture look dull.

With my PS4, I just use game mode. It also does a pretty good job with the colors. With game mode, most of the pictures settings are not available.

I have a Roku 3 which I have yet to adjust. I will change the picture settings for that device soon.

Anyone have any recommendations to the sound settings? I have my 42LM6200 on the stand next to a wall. I currently find cinema to be the best.

It's a bug introduced with one of the recent firmware updates, and LG has been made aware of it. No telling what (if anything) they'll do about it.

My 65LM6200 has been randomly shutting off, then comes right back on a few seconds later, almost like it's rebooting or something.

Has anyone ever had this happen? Right now it's doing it 2-3 times per day.

Yeah I've had that happen with my 55". It was a while ago now, but iirc a firmware update fixed it.

Just curious . . . how are any of you watching youtube direct? When I try it says I need flash player.

Or are you watching youtubes "from your laptop or other device" ported to the big screen?

You may need to update the TV's firmware. Be warned, however, that the current implementation of YT via LG Smart Apps is very poor...it crashes often requiring you to power-cycle the TV. I have a couple of components connected to the TV which handle YT well, including a Roku 3.
I downloaded the most recent update yesterday and had no issues, but today it has done it three times.

Suppose I better call someone or take it back? I assume it has a one year warranty?
It does have a one year warranty. You should contact LG to see what they suggest, though...that model has been discontinued.

Audio sync in recordings slowly gets further and further out.
We just got this set a couple of weeks back and so this past week I decided to buy a small HD to use with the TV record feature on the set. I tested it with a programme I was watching and it was all good, playback was fine,I could fast forward and rewind all ok, and audio and image were in sync. Likewise pausing live TV all worked fine.
I then set up the scheduled dvr function to record a could of things during the week when we were out. The sound in these recordings starts off in sync and then gets more and more out of sync as the recording goes on. I just upgraded to the latest revision of the TV bios but still no change.
Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?
Cheers!

Hmmh, I have recorded movies over 3 hours in length and, for example, the Eric Clapton Crossroads programs on Palladia that were 5 hours and did not experience audio lag.

Have not seen this.

Having Problems with WiFi on my 55"LM6200. It's been working great for about 10 months now every time I turn off the set it loses connectivity when I turn it back on. I have to select my wireless network from the list and re-enter my security code. I usually have to do this twice before it connects but sometimes it takes more tries. The network always shows up in the list as having the strongest possible signal strength. I don't remember having this problem before I updated to latest firmware (Version 06.01.03). We have laptops and smart phones attaching automatically to the network with no problems and use WEP for our security.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!
