A fleet of ships is forced to do battle with an armada of unknown origins in order to discover and thwart their destructive goals.

Just watched this trailer called BATTLESHIP (2012) on Empire cinemas webpage in case link doesn't work below it is youtube trailer.

Caution! Caution! Its a lot alike TRANSFORMERS! YOU SANK MY BATTLESHIP! Or maybe Robot Aliens meets what ever? It looks like lots crazy sound fun for cinema listeners and nutty sub bass.

It stars Jedi Taken master "Qui-Gon Jinn" (Liam Neeson) so iits bound to rock in the cinema, with some cannon force.

Its got clichés written all over. Transformers a little bit alike Battlefield Los Angeles (2011). The talk on imdb is, its proof Hollywood is running out of ideas and many more like it will bomb/flop. Budget: $200,000,000 (estimated) ouch!

LOL Yeah it doesn't look like really worth going to I might just do the same and give it a miss. There is nothing new more death and mass 3D CGI destruction up on the screen.

Or maybe its April fools joke I mean its April 1st today!

Cheers for that.

Well I did do a sea rescue search before starting this, thread I guess it just got forgotten about. So its been in planing since 2009? No wonder it didn't come up in the search Battleship the movie? I guess the title was undecided a few years ago?

This must have been submerged down on page 3 or 4. You sank my battleship!

So its what, based on board game? What's next then Twister, oh we've had that one of course but, it wasn't based on getting your knickers in twist on blue red orange circles, was it now.
