HI guys , I'm in Canada , and like I know the US Netflix Titles are 10 times Titles of Canada version . I would like to watch a lot movies over there , but no hope , so today I make this topic and hope everyone here can help me with this . I'm using :

+Tivi : LG 55" LW6500 [support internet and apps]

+My question today : How can I set my Canada account to the US account in order to watch on my TV ?

Thank you very much

You won't be able to do that. Movie and tv shows the company has licensed for distribution in the US, cannot be exported to customers outside of US borders. The studios would lose money if they allowed that, which is why they make US based companies operating in other countries purchase that same material separately. Plus, Canadian based pay tv, cable and broadcast channels may have content under license, which prevents Netflix Canada from securing it. It wouldn't be fair for them to spend money, only to have Canadian customers flock to Netflix US to watch the same.

Yeah, actually it's quite easy to get US Netflix in Canada, the UK, and Mexico.
I pay for Canadian Netflix, and it was worthless until I changed my DNS to look like I was in the US. I've done it on my Wii, Xbox, and my buddy's PS3.
In your network settings, change DNS from 'Automatic' to 'Manual'. Then enter in a US DNS address.
The ones below worked for months for people, but stopped late last week.
Primary DNS 208.122.23.22
Secondary DNS 208.122.23.23
I found new working ones, but don't want to spread them on the internet. Hunt around for the internet for some, it is well worth it.

Hello,

VPN is probably most well-known method to watch Netflix USA in Canada but is it the best?

You do NOT need a US Netflix account to watch US Netflix in Canada if you are watching on your PC, laptop, Ipad/iphone/itouch, WD TV Live or PS3. You can use your Canadian login and Canadian account info- however you do still need a US proxy service like what they have on blockless..

Hi guys,

I found out another DNS service like the one opie66 mentions. The DNS addresses are 173.203.204.153 and 173.203.201.131
I am located in Colombia and was able to access US contents. Unfortunately I had to create a Netflix US account because with my Colombian one I only got soap operas tongue.gif

Cheers

Hi there,

Unotelly has been great. I have a Canadian Netflix subscription and with Unotelly I can access the US Netflix content. The movie selection is different but not much better. Where the US Netflix excels is in TV show content - I have caught up on quite a few shows I missed while raising the kids and also revisited some classic shows..

It was easy and cheap to setup with clear instructions on their website. I have used successfully on my WDTV, imac, ipad, Windows 7 laptops and Galaxy S3.

Can you access the other regional Netflixs as well, or just the US?
