Hi there!
Im looking at building my first home theatre and have been researching alot on the proper screen to get based on what I need. I have been looking at the Elunevision screens however I wouldnt mind some input from the community on what type of screen i should be looking for.
The room is 12'7" wide by 24' long (though seating area will be around the 11' - 13' range) and has one window in the back corner (this is in a sunken basement).
I believe that the light control will be pretty good, so i dont expect much light leakage through the window. Even still I want to be able to watch stuff with the lights on from time to time.
I have been looking at a slightly negative gain screen with the grey color, since my understanding so far is that this will give me better blacks and higher contrast while still allowing for me to have the lights on from time to time and not wash out the picture. Can anyone either confirm this or point me in the right direction? Would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
