Relax, its all good
If you were happy with plasma before, you will be even happier with this new set. I can't comment about the quality of DirecTV but if you didn't see obvious flaws before you won't see them now either. Your new set is about 20% bigger. So take a close look at what you have now then move closer by 20%. This will give you the same apparent magnification you are going to get with the new set from your normal viewing position. So if your sit'n 15 feet back now just take 2 steps forward.Every model has a slightly different character. Most folks are very happy with the new Panasonics so unless your personal taste is way off main-stream, you will more than likely be pleased also.
