I know that if the App is available in the Viera Marketplace thats the easiest way. But without that, I dont think it will work to use the Viera browser to directly access the content and stream it...so I guess Im referring to streaming to my PC and then outputting it to the TV. Im interested in the easiest way to get both the video and the sound.
I have my GT hooked up via HDMI to a Denon 2112 for audio.
I have tried to stream through the Denon without success.
Anyone have thoughts on how I can best achieve this?
I use the vierra apps at times, but more often I use my Android phone & tablet through DLNA. Or wait....do you mean specifically a browser? I don't browse on the TV with a browser just use the apps (weather, youtube, vudu, pandora, amazon vod).
I have a Denon 1713 which is internet capable (wired only), but I just use WIFI on the TV for web access. I tried ARC....ugh it was a pita. I just use a toslink from TV to AVR for my surround audio.
There are a plethora of apps out there. I use 2, one called BubbleUPnP
and iMediaShare Lite
. I also sometimes use the vierra android app
