Yes. There is a 1/4" black mask around the perimeter of the screen to hide the absolute edge of the panel. In HD Size 2 mode with Aspect set to FULL, you will get the full image right up to the edge of that mask. Most Panasonics with narrower bezels have this mask, including the Pro models.

Is it the norm for THX not to be available, I just found HD masters settings for viera connect. I will try those tonight.

What happened was I saw that one of my inputs didn't have the pixel rotater enabled so I was trying to find the size settings and went through setup and left halfway and it put all the inputs to standard and I think that enables C.A.T.S.. Man, I thought it was the power supply going.

BTW, I play COD on the PS3 under slick1ru2 if you want to play some times. Seems like the active members of my clan might be moving onto the Aliens Colonial Marines game.

I have seen way too many complaints about Paul's here on AVS over the past few years and personally i would not buy from their online store because if you have any sort of problem they suddenly become very hard to deal with. So I have some faint indication that it *can* reconnect, doing so is generally considered "standard behavior" for Bluetooth devices, the TV clearly knows about the headphones, they are modern headphones from a generally reputable manufacturer, I have the latest GT50 firmware..... I'm perplexed. On top of it all, I even saw it work one time (out of perhaps 30 that I have tried it now).

Any tips or tricks people have for getting Bluetooth to reconnect automatically to the set or has anyone else encountered this issue?

They dont do any setup, so dont expect it....just take the top box off, turn it on and get you to sign paperwork. The only thing I can say is, the deliverers did know the box contained a TV, anything else...they probably could care less about as they are just getting a flat drop fee. Best Buy was much better. I recommend to spend the extra $100-200 bucks to order from Best Buy or Amazon. I was one of the lucky ones...but you may not be.

One good movie to "age the panel" is avatar. It's a full-screen movie. It's long. Full of vibrant colors and dark scenes. And is a pretty good movie. Also the perfect movie to see how much your TV can really shine.
