Are you saying that after watching Fox News for more than 15 minutes, you start seeing the logo during commercials?

I can't watch more then 15 minutes of Fox News Channel before I start seeing their logo(s) IR. It is so frustrating! Call me naive, but I actually tried to phone the station to remind them that, 'Hey some of us have plasma TVs guys!'. Good luck with trying to find a human being in their 6th Avenue, 42 story, headquarters that will pick up the phone!

Hey, thanks for letting me vent. Now I'm running Sade "Coming Home" BD to wipe the pixels... cool.gif

You should mix it up with some MSNBC. wink.gif

I watch Fox News a lot and have never had any trouble. O'Reilly is the man.

Even if it's Fox News, I am serious about wanting to know exactly when and how you see their logo in the wrong place. smile.gif

Just a short period of time and folks yet it sure derailed this thread in my mind.

Unfortunately I have to agree. frown.gif

Anyone know where you can buy the Panasonic VIERA TC-P60GT50 60-Inch 1080p 600Hz Full HD 3D Plasma TV online besides Amazon? I was hoping to see the prices go down when the new models hit the market but they still are expensive.

I would hold off and buy the 60ST60. It looks like the ST60s might have some improvements over the GT50s so thats the way I would go. I have the 60GT50 and if the 60ST60 was available now I would seriously consider returning it for the 60ST60.

I on the other hand am glad I bought the GT50. It has one more HDMI input and two more picture modes, THX Cinema and THX Bright Room plus THX 3d Cinema.

If I were to buy another one, I'd buy the used Amazon's Like New set for $1665 and a Square Trade warranty. Actually, mine was new and I still added a Square Trade Warranty.

Only thing that sucks about this set is PC text. It's just horrible.

Wow nice, it's almost like that wall was made just for that size tv.

I haven't noticed it in any Blu-ray movies, but I have noticed it if there's say a ticker say when I'm playing a PS3 game or something.
It also is visible if I change the display to 4:3 with the gray borders:

I also just checked using different image settings and seems to happen across the board. It also is visible with the OSD if I'm changing settings such as contrast or volume.

The picture looks like it is showing the bottom right corner of a media player window on your computer. Is it possible that the shadow box is a setting in the computer, a drop shadow box? I use a MacBook and there are those kind of shadows on every window. I'm pretty sure that if you are showing us an image from your TV being used as a computer monitor then you can turn it off.

Looks good, do you have a tilt in your mount bracket, can't really tell from the picture.

Thanks & yes, it is tilted, you can kind of see it in the pic when looking at the left side of the screen, top to bottom.

The picture doesn't show it very well, but I think he might be talking about the lines that run straight across the panel horizontally from the bright part of the window. In which case it's line bleed, a perfectly normal plasma thing you can't do anything about. Even the mighty Kuros do that, but you'll never notice it in proper video content. Basically, ignore it when you have a UI on the screen because you'll never see it during any normal movie/TV show/game.

We have a similar set up. Finally installed a mantel to block heat, so now we can run our gas fireplace... but now the weather is too warm to run the fireplace. Have you run yours with the TV there? I'm interested in knowing if a mantel blocks enough heat.
