Help with Samsung BD-D6700 and HDMI 1.3 receiver

Thread Starter
I just received my Samsung pn64d8000 and since I don't have a 3d ready receiver, I went to best buy and decided to get the Samsung BD-D6700 for the dual hdmi output.

After messing around for hours, I finally got audio to work over HDMI to the reciever while seeing a 2D Image on the TV at the same time, but once I enable 2D-3D (I don't have any 3D Blurays yet), the sound drops out no matter how I have it hooked up.

The only thing I noticed that might be contributing is the "AnyNet" feature, or whichever feature that the TV uses to know whether I turning the reciever volume up and down.

I may try turning that off. Any other suggestions?

I turned off anynet, but that did not change anything.

is the bly ray player setup to output only audio from the second HDMI output? I know the panasonics asks you how you want the second HDMI to work.

The options are Dual HDMI and Auto. I have it set to auto.

I forgot to turn off anynet on the BD player as well. It seems the anynet would tell the receiver to switch to "TV/SAT" which doesn't even have an HDMI assigned to it.

A little OT, but where did you get yours from? I have been trying to find one but have had no luck.

Thanks!
