I understood what you said, but all I was saying is that things will change since the tech is new within the USA. If you read the article that I likened, they (AAPL) wasn't one of the companies mentioned behind the USA push, it was Samsung, LG, and Dyle behind it.
Who knows what AAPL will do, maybe they'll wait and see if it becomes popular. They wouldn't want to piss off their corporate clients when employes start watching DTV at work, especially with the hurt they've put on RIM. Not to mention the added expense and work for the corporate IT departments. Since the tech is so new here (USA) it's possible that they haven't gotten around to releasing it as "their new feature" or figured out how to monetize it for themselves (I doubt this). As you know they'll soon have to announce the latest and greatest (iphone 5, 6, 7, etc, etc ...) to continue their sales machine, who knows maybe it will be a future release for them. Or possibly they haven't signed agreements with subcontractors to make it, like I said who knows what they'll do but rest assured they'll eventually come out with something.
