Here's what I am looking for a media player to play my current dvd's and blu rays. I'm not to concerned about netflix or anything along those lines just wanting a server to store my current movies on and be done with it will the B-1 do that for me?

I have owned B-1 for 4 months and also own several other streamers. Hands down, Dune! B-1 plays everything I throw at it and w/ BR drive.... well, it just works!

The Dune B1 will play your DVD/BD discs and ripped files over the network fine, but it's not a server, and it doesn't have any built-in storage (other than an SD card slot). You'll need to connect an external hard drive to the B1, or connect the B1 to some other networked storage. Just thought I'd clarify.
