Abandoned netstreams digulinx, what can I do with infrastructure?

So I have abandoned my digulinx install. Just isn't worth the effort, as technology progresses... To be fair, I never utilized it'd full potential. That said, I now have three holes in my wall, with cat 5e and the associated power. Question I have is, but how can I use it? Was thinking weather station, docking port for iphone, security (is there a cat 5 security option). Maybe docking port for just an average remote Logitech.. Any suggestions?
