Question about my Yamaha 471.

Would a three-way speaker, such as a Monitor 60, be ok to use my Yamaha 471 rec. It has about 100 watts per channel.

The Monitor 60s are fairly easy to drive with a 90 dB sensitivity rating. Your Yamaha should drive them just fine.

Sure, it would be perfectly fine. Whether it is 2 way or 3 way doesn't matter to the receiver. The Monitor 60 is a 8 ohm speaker with 90db sensitivity. Piece of cake for your Yamaha to handle unless you're trying to play it in a concert hall.
