OK, here is the deal. I am *NOT* a big TV geek. I am not going to spend $40k building a home theater. I watch an average of 3 - 4 hours a week and 2 DVDs a week.
I have a room in the basement I can make into my tv room. I want to see a big picture and I am not picky about the image being perfect. I can handle screendoor effect and other minor issues. I just want a 60"+ screen to look at.
What is the least expensive way to get a progressive DVD image projected to a nice size screen? Should I even consider front projection?
