And you're famous for it. But that's ok. OCZ needs love too.
EDIT: by the way, for some of us it's not "OCZ hate", its a reluctance to buy SF2281 controller based SSDs, and until recently, that's all OCZ used in its SATA III offerings. Personally, my concern was not OCZ specific. But that's why I used Plextor and Samsung for SATA III SSDs and why many people chose the Crucial M4.
I consider it unfortunate that I have yet to see a single site such as Anandtech that went to great lengths to document the 2281 bug actually go through full scale testing to declare the bug fixed by the November 2011 firmware release. For a long time, if you wanted SATA III, your only alternative choice was Samsung, or one of the 3 or 4 Marvell contoller based ones. But, considering that the number of alternative choices is increasing, I doubt that I'll ever buy a 2281 based drive. I have a couple of Sandforce SATA II drives that work without a problem.
BTW, have you used one of the Indilinx controller based OCZ units yet? I was looking forward to trying one of those, but the Newegg reviews at least have not been very kind.
