Garibaldi doesn't make it for me... first paiting was a surprise, the next few, more of the same, last one was in 4 but it was an ugly version of the Statue of Liberty.. he may have earned some votes by doing this theme...

Olate Dogs didn't do anything that we've seen before they have become boring IMO.

I'm still between Cotter and Close

I like Tom Cotter, and think he's funny. The problem is that he's just like any other comedian; he tells jokes. There's no originality there, other than the creativity of your joke-telling (which is, admittedly, a difficult thing to do). Just like most stand-up comics who headline an act in Vegas or somewhere big, if you've seen them once, you're good until they've written a new set. I just don't think telling funny jokes is worth $1 million.

For the last 2 months I was saying Close is the clear winner

But ever since Tom Cotter I think in the quarterfinals had about 8 topics to choose from, the guy had well over 1 hour of material. I think he may be my new favorite or its going to be close.

Plus we do not know what the percentages of voting have been, or who was the top vote each week. Have they mentioned this?

When's the finale? tomorrow? next week? why they keep chaning the days? typical NBC

don't feel bad, even Howard can't figure the schedule out. He took off Wed from his radio show figuring AGT was on tonight. It's Wed/Thurs

A mostly uneventful night, but still enjoyable. Nothing changed my top two picks. William Close continues to expand his onstage show. I would really like to hear that in person.

Tom Cotter wasn’t as good as he was last week, but making people laugh every second of a 90 second routine is impossible; you don’t laugh every minute in a 90 minute show. But still, last weeks routine done this week would have given him a stronger finish, IMO.

Garibaldi stepped up with a much better performance this week and should finish 3rd.

I’m moving Olate Dogs up from my 6th spot last week to 4th this week. Too bad they had the one mistake, but the audience was really into it and they had, what I thought, was their best routine of the season.

The Untouchables routine was not as good as in previous shows. Or maybe it was and I just saw it differently than the judges. It fell flat, IMO.

Joe Costello had his worst night. Obviously, doing caricatures in sand is not his best talent.

Close for the win and Cotter taking second.

Olate Dogs did the same old routine and this time with a little mistake, Cotter was still funny but not as much as last week, Close was stronger with less clutter, Garibaldi did the same thing as the first show but only upsize down picture that was turned, adding the CYMK at the background didn't impress me, Untoubables didn't step it up, Castillo was dissapointing this time..

America can't judge talent... America got it wrong.

Maybe I am younger than most people posting about this show, but Close never did it for me.

I thought Cotter should ahve won out of the two that were left, he clearly was the better talent and varied his show much more. While Olate dogs was a good show, they continued to do the same tricks over and over......Again we see that America is not a good judge of talent ;-)

Ugh. Its crazy that most of us have the dogs finishing in sixth, yet they end up winning. I plan on being in Vegas this fall, and I can guarantee that I will not be seeing their show.

Already starting looking at tom Cotters website & schedule. I plan on seeing his stand up whenever he is in my area. Blows there isn't a 2nd place prize, but hopefully the exposure from the show makes him very successful

They should have Cotter on the Late shows ASAP, like most here I will go see him if he comes near my city, if I go to Vegas I will not see the dogs at all, I've already seen their same tricks..

I guess America voted for Sharon's favorite, maybe a going away present...

Stunned. Another Skinner finale.

I’m a huge animal lover, and I did like Olate Dogs, but I was never blown away by them; never considered them to be a million dollar act. Cute and lovable, for sure, but if we’re voting for cute and lovable, I’m voting for Lindsey Norton.

Tom Cotter got more and more comfortable in the AGT environment as the season wore on and I expect to see more of him. I was very disappointed he didn’t win.

Praise the electronic gods for the DVR. I practically wore out my FF button last night. I haven’t checked, but what are the demographics for this show, 18-25?

Which brings me to Joan Rivers. She needs to fire her taxidermist and start over. I’ve always liked her brand of humor, but couldn’t AGT have come up with a more ‘contemporary’ comedian to go along with the ‘contemporary’ musical guests? That made no sense to me.

One more season like this (please hire a new director) and that will be the end of AGT, IMO. It will be interesting to see whom they hire as the new female judge.

Yeah Camera/Show director shouldn't come back to AGT or any other show, what a bad job he/she did this season....

Completely ruined Joe Castillo's performance, both in the finals and in the results show. Is America really so ADD that they can't see the same angle for more than 3 seconds? Same with Garibaldi's art in the results show, kept cutting away from his performance. What's the point of speed art if you're just looking at the final product, and not the performance itself?

Ugh. Those dogs. I can't believe I stayed up late last night to watch the DVR, I could have gotten an extra hour of sleep.

I did think it was absolutely HILARIOUS when Nick asked Tom Cotter for his thoughts after finding out he came in 2nd place, and Cotter replied "I'm going to go fall down those stairs over there and get my own million dollars."

Yeah, perhaps on the finale he should have stumbled and hit the floor, worked for the dogs, why not for him. I was also like "I wonder if he is going to do something funny after his performance like last time" and he did with the "2s" on his bare chest.. LOL

Maybe he had to make Sharon fall in love with him and lay on the judges desk and be pampered by her..

Yeah. I loved watching intricate dance steps (or anything) from the back rafters of the theatre. What are they thinking?

The dog act maybe one step up from the Skinner win. Where's Prince Poppycock when you need him?

Well they will do their AGT Vegas show in The Venettian Sept 26, Tom Cotter will be presenting, they could have not chosen better

I have to agree about the Director for this show.  He (they, she, it) has been awful all season.  The voters are the tv audience and they rarely get to see the bulk of the performance from many artists.  This was especially important for the sand artist and similar acts.  Shots of the back of his head, or Mandel watching him from the audience, are useless and completely undermine the act.  I was almost screaming at the TV for the camera to SIT STILL!  The guy should be fired.

I told my wife that the dogs were going to win. For one, they are great trained dogs. And second and most importantly, they went last on vote night. General public can't think past the last thing they see. Also people don't vote based on seeing an hour act. Based on that Tom Cotter should have easily one. I am not worried about him. He seemed to get better and better with each show. Second place seems perfect on this show. Jackie Evancho and Tom Cotter will be around a long time.

America's Got.....DOGS? Pathetic.

When the dogs finished in the top two on their semi-finals night, I figured trouble was brewing. Just sad that two very talented guys got beat out by trained dogs.

Now....if that had been Olate CATS it might be a different story. A troupe of trained tabbies. Not the big guys, just regular house cats. Hey, I've already got mine trained to come to the kitchen when they hear the can opener. How hard can it be.

America's got ADD should be the real name of the show...
