I have a Ford F150 Platinum and I have the Sony Nav with the 700 watt sound system which it also has a sub. It sounds ok, but I would like to make some changes. I thought about changing out the tweeters in the frames around the windshield, but I would really like to put a new powered sub in. I have read that some guys are using polyfill to make the stock sub sound better, but I am looking for a little bit deeper bass. My question is, can I change out the factory sub and still pair it to the Sony Nav? I have seen some custom subs that fit the F150, but not sure about the wiring aspect. Thanks for any info.
