Looking to improve upon my panasonic plasma's weak audio and finally upgrade to a real system:
Room Dimensions: 20'x16' w/ 10' ceilings, tile floor w/ large (12x16) rug at sitting area. Couch facing the tv is about 13' away. The room could be considered "open" on one of the 20' sides.
Use: Roughly 40% TV, 30% Movies and 30% Music. This is our living room, not a dedicated HT room, so the system will have to do a little of everything.
Budget: I'd like to stay at or near $2000, but, if something will cost a little more and offer a significant improvement, then I would consider it.
Setup: 5.1, so besides needing a receiver, I'd like to use two towers on the side of the tv in addition to the center channel. My back wall is (rectangular) in-wall-speaker-ready, right now it is just wires in a hole covered by a screen, and lastly a sub.
