Just a quick question on a recommendation on putting some buttkickers on my 2 platforms which will have movie theater seats installed on them
1 platform is 8 feet long by 5 feet wide
1 platform is about 6 1/2 feet long by 5 feet wide
Platforms are constructed of 2x8s with going in the 5 foot wide direction. 2 layers of 3/4 plywood on top with carpet on top of that. Platforms are sitting side by side to make a big platform 14 1/2 feet long x 5 feet wide.
6 Star Delight theater chairs will be bolted to the platforms. I hope to add a 7th if there is room.
How many buttkickers should I install under each platform (assuming I should use BK-LFEs)?
OR
Should I add a few minis to the actual row of theater seats?
You guys thoughts on this would be great.
