Personally, I feel that using the keystone outlets give a much cleaner look, no bundles of wire or jamming it up in the stud space. CAT 5 works well for me and I stream a lot of HD content over my network, but I guess if I was doing it today I'd future proof and go CAT 6.

So I chickened out a little. I called a local place that specializes in Home Theater and they are hard wiring my place as I type this. I was leery about trying to fish the wire through the walls, mostly, and as it turns out these guys had some issues in my place, so I'm glad I went with them. I have extra storage waiting for me to start ripping my Blu Rays finally, something I never bothered to do since I didn't have the network to support it.
