I'll be heading to my local audio/video shop in about a month to most likely pick up this projector (95% chance). I know the MSRP is $4000. My question is, can I/should I expect any flexibility on this price or is it mostly set in stone? Those of you that bought this projector, how much did you pay (if you don't mind me asking) and where did you get it?

People have got them for as low as $3k.
$3500 is the average.

Three stores, 2 local, (Albuquerque) and 1 out of state, (Utah shipping incl.) would sell one for $3300. One of the local stores threw in the install for that price, so they got my business. Install was going to run about $150.

Okay, thanks guys. Now I know if this guy is gonna give me a good deal or not. I'm gonna shoot for $3300.

AVS has the 5010 and IIRC, they do not sell the 6010 because that is usually reserved for Epson install dealers.
