Samsung LE27S71B power problem

Hi everybody,

I have a problem with my Samsung LCD TV (Model: LE27S71B).

(1)When I switch the TV on the red LED starts blinking, then the screen turns on for a second and then turns off again, the red LED keeps blinking for 2 more seconds and turns off then.

(2)When I press the power button again, the red LED switches on and stays on (standby).

(3)When I press the power button again the same as "step 1" happens.

I read a lot about the "samsung capacitor problem" and hoped that I just have to change some capacitors, but when I open the TV, the capacitors look totally fine (no visual symptoms).

Does the problem sounds like it is a capacitor problem? Should I just change all 6 capacitors, even they look fine?

I read that usually if you have the "samsung capacitor problem" the TV clicks and tries to turn on itself again. On my TV I have to press the power button maunaly.

Any help is really appreciated, Thanks a lot.

PS: the tv has no more warranty

This morning I made this video to show the symptoms:

Sorry for this weird link writing, but as I have less then 3 posts, I'm not allowed to post proper links.

Thanks

If you can do it yourself, change all the capacitors, they don't always show the problem and it can manifest itself in different start up problems, not just clicking. You have nothing to loose if you can't use the tv and the replacement probably will fix it.

Hi it's me again.

Today I changed the following capacitors:

Unfortunately this didn't change anything. The TV has still the same problems .

I also found some yellow stuff on the power board:

Could this be the reason? I actually don't think so.

And here an overall pic of the power board. Maybe somebody has an idea how to fix it.

Thanks
