I have no idea why you linked BBB in your defense argument.
Unaccreditted BBB accounts are automatically created when the first complaint comes in. Any phony baloney business will be in there as soon as they get 1 or 2 complaints.
BBB starts accounts at its highest rating then moves them down as more complaints come in.
(*They've been also caught raising ratings for due payers in the past and lowering them for those that don't pay dues)
BBB is not and has never been an enforcement agency. Nor do they really provide legitimacy to any business. They exist to help people "feel like they did something that mattered" when something goes wrong. Generally speaking they are basically an internet bulletin board on for complaints and usually accomplishes just about as much (IE nothing)
Finally please try not to escalate things by bolstering things unproportionally up. (If we're up to devils and saints it won't be long till it's the patriots vs nazi's with the usual language to match)
While I did call the activity "scamming" I specifically congratulated those that were successful and posted only to remind everyone that overshooting your expectations will often hurt your chances far more than focusing on the solid target. I'm not in the least bit jealous nor upset that someone pulled off a better deal out of this than what I posted,
And now I'm off to chase/tackle my kid
