Panasonic VT50 Deals - Page 62

Originally got mine at BB for $3299 and they wouldn't budge and stated that it had to be an authorized dealer. They said it was already on sale from $3699. I wasn't even going to go back but reading everything on the forum I figured I'd take a shot. I went back a week or so later and they price matched btv for 2549. And I got 4 panny glasses for $29 each since they price matched sears. Then this week I went back again and they matched btv's lower price of $2425. I feel like I got a great deal in both the tv and glasses and aside from the first visit this BB store was great! Today I got $65 dollars in an email to spend at BB so that's even like more off the tv. I'm not sure how long the aggressive price matching will last, some have said it was for the holidays and is already done but just keep trying and maybe another BB will come through

And they were cleaned out of the panny glasses too. I'm sure a bunch of people took advantage of the sears price

Finally just ordered 65VT from Pauls for 2499, no tax, white glove delivery. Could have easily PMd with BB as pauls is an authorized dealer but didnt want tp pay tax, eventhough free ISF calibration cud have covered the tax.

San Jose BB just price matched Paul's over the phone at 2499.99 pre tax and its on its way. I thought I read that they offer a free isf cal on here but the sales rep said they do not is this correct?

If u spend 2500$ in a year, u get upgraded to silver premier membership, an upper tier rewards membership, u can then get a free ISF calibration plus I think $50 cashback with 2500$ purchase...

Just wait a few weeks until your Silver membership gets activated. Make sure you have a rewards account. That will give you time to put some hours on the display before your calibration.

$100 cash back (4%) if you buy with BB Reward Zone credit card and choose standard credit financing.

Got my 65vt50 for $2,599.99, had a chat with pauls representative and they credited back to me $100. Thanks for the info on save500 coupon

Just got off the phone with Alfred at Pauls TV. They are having issues with the website on the VT50 but he took my order for a 65VT50, white glove, no sales tax (and I live in CA) total including the e-waste fee was $2504.99. I've already received the email invoice. They will be getting new stock next week. His direct line is 949-596-8341. Nice guy, no hassle, very pleased.

So the price went down to $2499.99 for Pauls TV? I have until the 24th of this month for my 30 day price match.

Thanks for the info!

It's 2999.99 but with the save500 coupon drops it to 2499.99. State of CA charge a $5 e-waste fee.

Correction to my first post, I spoke with Albert not Alfred

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that Best Buy was at $2899.00 but now I'm looking and they are up to $3299 for the VT65. I have a newborn and bad sleep so I could be going crazy.

Pauls is out of stock online. Can't order it and print the check out page to take to BB.

I just got off the phone with Gil from my local Paul's (West LA 310-405-7314). The deal they have on it in the store is a bit different than online ($3200 + tax) so it took a couple of calls back to get them to finally nail down the $2504.99 price but they did.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I've been itching to pull the trigger when it hit ~$2500 again. Now to just wait until they have them in stock, wait for delivery, and wait for the 4 days of running slides!

Sweet waiting for Pauls to call me, since the 55" went down $100.

No problem, Its a great TV I ordered it Dec 31st and was delivered 9 days later. Best TV I've owned and Pauls just called me and told me I'd be credited back $100.

I can't believe you might convince me to spend $600 more then I was going to... Was just about to settle on the 50ST50 after missing the amazing $699 deal on Amazon for the UT50. I've got about $700 in Amazon credits from selling back old text books and some other trade in's and I noticed Paul's allows you to "pay with Amazon". Anyone know if you can use Amazon "credit" or giftcards with Paul's when doing the pay with amazon deal?

Also, where do you find these SAVE500 and SAVE400 coupon codes? Are they good on anything besides the 65VT50 and 55VT50, bundles?

weird I was going to buy an ST or a GT but said WTH and splurged on the VT. As for the coupon just add the VT to your cart on the next screen just type in SAVE400 and that will take the price down.

I started a live chat when I couldn't get the pauls tv website to work. Verified the price, coupon, white glove, no sales tax in the chat. Gave him my cell phone, was called within a couple of minutes, no upsell, finalized the deal. I've never dealt with Pauls before and I'm picky but I'll definitely make them an option moving forward.

Use an Amazon Store Card to purchase from Pauls?!? That'd be sweet!

My wife finally agreed to go for a VT 65" vs the 55" after spending a few days at her sisters in Atlanta and seeing just how nice a larger screen can be (they have a 65"). Problem is, she initially wanted to buy through Amazon and put it on the Amazon card but now they're out of stock, probably for good and I personally don't think the price is going to drop much more below $2,500. I live only 20 miles away from the Pauls in Irvine, CA so if I can put it on the Amazon card and get the $2,500 price including tax (even if I have to pick it up in store), order be placed this week!

I had been checking the BB site every day to hopefully see the $2,899.99 price go down, only to see it go back up to $3,299.99 on Friday. I decided to stop by the Magnolia store yesterday, and the in-store price was $2,899.99. The better news, I went in with the authorized dealer list and the Paul's TV ad and asked if they would price match. The salesman called Paul's and they confirmed the $2,499 price so BB price matched it. biggrin.gif Will be delivered Friday. smile.gif

I can still see BB lowering the price as they had 270 units in inventory yesterday. Good luck
