When I go online it has an option to "Ship to the store" - I'm guessing from a warehouse. It even gives a date as to when it can be picked up. I'm just not interested in paying $3,300 online.

I found a floor model but am not crazy about buying one. Could get a good discount though as they are not going to be selling anymore and it's the last one. I'll want to find a way to see how many hours are on it as well.

Have you looked at Pauls TV? Their sale on the 65VT50's is still on today with the 800 off coupon online. No tax free shipping.

If you select a specific store it will likely show nothing available. The manager at Best Buy was looking at warehouse inventory.

I tried to buy a VT50 from BuyTVToday.com on Feb 8th and they are now telling me they will refund my money. The idea is that the supply has dried up. We will see if I get a refund or not and let you know.

no offense, but why would you even try to buy a TV from them after the countless posts telling people to stay away from these guys? i hope everything works out. good luck!

Why did I order from Roman at BuyTVtoday.com. I was one day post op for Knee sergery and on drugs. I live near Roman and we bank at the same bank and the bank said he was a valid business. I'm meeting him today for a refund, I will let you guys know if he shows up.

Assuming you can find one of these units new in box, what price would you feel happy about? Right around $2600? The ZT60 is going to be around $3600?

yeah i think $2500-2600 sounds about right. a lot of people got lucky and got BBY to PM BTV and got them for $2300, but i'm still happy with the $2500 i spent.

Just came back from BB. Paul's TV has $3299 online and BB has it for $2999, so after talking with the mgr, he said he'd do $100 off the $2999. I said with rebates and/or if you call them, it's $2499 at Paul's. I gave up after about 30 seconds. Paul's TV will do just fine.

The fact that he could not find a VT50 for me is one thing but he did not try to rip me off in any way. All I can really say is that Roman is a real person that lives in the Seattle area and is running BuyTVToday.com and he told me the wrong TV was shipped (st50) and that he is having a hard time getting any more VT50's. I asked to get my money back and he meet me the next day and I was happy to see my money again.

It seems you are lucky to get your money back. Just think if you did not know this guy or lived near him. You probably would have never got your money back. I'm still amazed that people deal with places like BuyTVToday even though all the warning signs are there not to.

Thanks for all the tips guys...went back to bby for a second try with btv print out and page 79 from this forum printed out with those who got the 2299 PM highlighted...was initially told no by a manager..escalated to his store manager and he had to contact corporate to approve the price match. Got the green light, and right in time because their policy changes I believe this Monday! Any silver reward zone members going to keep watching prices for the next month or so? lol

Notice how BTV is still offering them for sale though, even though he can't get them. Do we really need any more proof than that?

I bought the 65VT50 earlier this month with price matching to paul's. They matched the price but din't match it with tax. so I paid 2499+tax. Since I wanted the tv before superbowl I bought it from best buy. I went back with the buytvtoday ad last week and they said that it is not a legitimate website and wont do a price match but as a good faith will offer me another $100 off so now i have paid 2399+tax. Still happy with the deal and thanks to this thread for posting all the deals.

Under the new policy will they will only match prices from the websites listed? Won't managers still have flexibility?

my 65" VT50 was just delivered about 2 hours ago and what a fiasco that was....

i ordered it from paul's tv and it sat in a warehouse 30 minutes from my house for 6 days before they would pencil me in for a delivery. today they showed up 3 hours early, refused to put the tv on the included stand or even remove the tv from the packaging completely, both guys didnt bother putting on gloves and put fingerprints all over the screen and made me plug the thing in and then sign a bunch of paperwork. i asked them repeatably to remove the tv and put it on its stand and one guy just left the house and the other plainly refused. needless to say paul's is getting a phone call once i get a chance later this afternoon, this is not what white glove delivery is supposed to be, luckily i had a friend at the house to help me put the tv on the stand and lift it out of the box. otherwise it would still be inside the carton...unbelievable.

Personably I'd rather unbox anything myself. As long as the box doesn't have any damage I'd rather not have a couple gorillas unboxing and handling anything at all. Just me, but most people that do this type of work don't treat anything they deliver like I do.

usually i'd be right there with you, but when a white glove delivery service is included in the price of the tv u'd expect some sort of service. these guys didnt provide any...and showing up 3 hours early? luckily i had finished my midterms early, otherwise i probably would have had to reschedule for another 6 or 7 days with this company...

i don't see how BB's new policy is really better in any way than it was earlier. Pauls is not on the list and amazon has been sold out of the 65 for at least a month now.
