I would expect an asterisk stating that the 2 year extension is covered only by warehouse purchases if that were the case. If you look at the terms on the Costco website where the terms are square trade terms are explained, it simply implies if you purchase the ST warranty, Costco will add the 2 year to the manufacturer warranty.
Here is a statement reinforcing the terms they are describing:
"Costco members may also purchase a SquareTrade Service plan to cover a new TV purchased outside of Costco from an authorized retailer in the US.
Service Plan must be bought within 60 days of purchasing the TV.
Give it up already, You are NOT going to get the 2nd year of warranty coverage that "Costco Concierge Service provides, unless you also buy the TV itself from Costco!
