I'll have to see if my nearby regular BB can/will do anything. It would save me some trouble as well since i have a $1650 gift card to there that i was planning on selling online (for a little less) and using at work or somewhere else as mentioned. Only problem is that since they're not a magnolia, IDK if they will do anything. I think last time i was in BB and asked about ordering the VT30 at the time, they said it'd have to be done online or directly in a magnolia BB. Nearest magnolia to me is about 4hrs away. Kind of a risky drive and i'd need it delivered.

I PM'd Cleveland Plasma last night about it. It says "call in for the best price!" on their website so i asked if there was a better deal available (even though i technically didn't call in). Awaiting a reply back ATM. IDK if i'll hear anything today though, as it's labor day and they may not be open. The option to have ChadB calibrate it would be nice, but i think i'd still rather buy my own equipment. If the price is right, i'd have him do it. He'd do a better job anyway.

Strongly considering East Coast TV at the moment. Thanks!
Edit: I emailed East Coast because it looks like i'm outside of their delivery area for TVs 55" and larger according to a map on their site. I'm checking to see if i can even get the product from them and if so, if i can still receive the free delivery offer. Additionally, i'm really picky about dead/stuck pixels, so i'm checking in on their policy about that. The only thing that kind of sucks is that any issues would have to be caught right when it's delivered. The moment the delivery form is signed, any further issues would have to go through the manufacturer for repair, which can be time consuming as they would have to send out a tech a few days later, find the problem, order the part, return a few days to a few weeks later when the part comes in, reschedule an appointment to put the part in, and sometimes that doesnt fix the issue as they generally will replace the boards first (since they're cheaper) and if a new board doesn't fix it, then it's the panel and we restart the order part process all over. Not to mention i'm stuck with a now refurbished tv. It's very unlikely that this will happen, but working in retail w/ tvs i see it often enough to bring a slight amount of paranoia.Edited by maygit - 9/3/12 at 9:56am
