media player advice

I have to buy an affordable media player and I am considering WDTV LIVE Streaming and Logitech Revue to go. Which is better in term of supported video formats, codecs, resolutions and profiles, I need a player which must play 1080p mkv with HP@4.1 and with AC3 or DTS sound. I have read alot about WD but want some experience share of revue users.

You might want to post your question in the media streamer forum.

Good luck to you, hope you find what you're looking for!

WDTV would be better, but I don't think it will play HD sound.

It(WDTV) will bitstream TrueHD but will extract DTS Core only from DTS-MA

Revue doesn't play DTS. You would have to convert the audio to AAC or something the Revue will recognize.

The Revue will play all mkv and avi and mp4 files though.
