Smallest footprint HT Recliners

I have a small HT build (11'5 x 20) that is getting smaller (decoupling, DD, GG). My wife says seating 8 is non-negotiable, so i am trying to find two rows of four (o/oo/o) that we can squeeze by to get to the second row.

What manufacturer / model has the smallest footprint?

Thanks,
Pat

The Fusion series chairs from rtheaters.com (Roman) have a couple sets that have a narrow footprint (width). I think without loosing one aisle, you aren't going to fit any of the theater recliners without loosing either the right or left aisle.

Another option is standard theater seating. You can easily get 4 of those with aisles on either side, but no foot rests.

Thanks. I think the jive model is the smallest he has. If i do two loveseat style in the front (/oo/oo/) i think it will be about 104". That should leave enogh room to squeeze by to get to the second row.

Pat,

There are several good options from the best brand names in home theater seating, such as Palliser. Do you have a certain measurement so I can really narrow some down for you? Without knowing your measurements I would first recommend the Blade or the Bullet from Palliser. Look forward to hearing the measurements

Pat,
Also take a look at the following models:

Albany Metro: Features lighted cup holders, Try tay & Storage all with a more narrow footprint

Lane 220: basically the Berkline (who went out of business around a year ago) 45088

Depending on the space and considering you would like to do a loveseat, the Palliser Cyclone.

Please post the actual space you have for your chairs.

Thanks for all of the options guys, I am going to start looking at specs right now. The space is 11' 5" inches now. If I remove the current drywall and decouple, DD, GG, it should end up right at 11' (132"). I am not worried about isles (just need enough space for someone to squeeze by to get to the second row, and I know the outer seats audio will be a compromise (right below surrounds)...

Thanks again for the options.

Pat,
Thanks for posting the measurements. Any of the chairs mentioned here will fit the 132" that you have including the Lane 220, Palliser Cyclone the Albany Metro and a couple of others.

This is great info. I'm a few months away from needing chairs, but my room is on the narrow side too (~144" with wall treatments).

Also the Row One City Lights (their version of the Berkline 45088). It's the narrowest footprint I am aware of. Significantly narrower than the Lane 220.

I just picked up a gently used, 4 seat configuration of the Berkline 45088s at an unbelieveable price of $500 (originally thought they were 12006, but the tag says 45088). I could only fit 3 seats in the room, so the 4th went into my daughter's room as her tv chair.

They are comfortable as anything. I'm 5'8" 225, and they fit well, but the low backs would not be good for taller people.
